Victor Snake-A-Way Snake Repelling Granules are effective in driving away garter snakes, rattlesnakes, and other snake species from areas where they are not desired. This granular snake repellent can be applied around the perimeter of the area that needs to be protected, including residential yards, parks, businesses, and livestock areas. The snake's Jacobson's Organ (an additional olfactory sense organ) detects the Snake-A-Way, and this disrupts its usage, causing the snake to slither away in search of fresh air.

To use the product, apply the granules to the perimeter of the area that needs to be protected while wearing gloves. Lay down bands that are 4 to 5 inches wide to repel garter snakes and 8 to 12 inches wide to repel rattlesnakes. For yard application, sprinkle the Snake-A-Way throughout the area within the perimeter. When the odor becomes faint, reapply the product. The formula contains naphthalene (7%) and sulfur (28%) as its active ingredients.

Snake-A-Way is effective in repelling venomous and non-venomous snakes, such as garter snakes or rattlesnakes, when used outdoors.
